Free or Cheap Movies All Summer for the kids!

How many times since school let out have you heard that? I know way to many. But maybe I have  just what you need. How does free or cheap movies to watch all summer with your kids sound? Did you know that most movie theaters offer free movies in the summer to everyone?

Here is a list of Cinemas offering summer programs. I'm hoping I listed a theater for all of my readers if not please leave a link to your theater and I'll do an update.


 AMC Theater: Bring Your Babies Matinees

It’s a play date for parents just like you! Catch the blockbusters you want to see on the first Tuesday of every month, shown in a baby-friendly environment.
(They also have a program for children with Autism. Check the link for details.)

Bowtie Cinemas: Kid's Club Film Series

   Show Time 10 a.m.   Doors open at 9 a.m.
 Absolutely Free Admission!  Seating limited to theater capacity; tickets issued on a first come-first served basis

Carmike Cinemas: 2012 Summer Kid Series 

 June 21st start date.  Stay cool with us this summer and enjoy our 2012 Summer Kid Series! Ten weeks of summer fun every Thursday for only $2. $2 Movie Combo includes: drink, popcorn, and admission.

Cinemark: Summer Movie Clubhouse

 10 Shows for $5 or $1 each if purchased at box office.

Mall of America Theaters: Free Family Flicks

Every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.
The entire family can enjoy select movies for FREE every Saturday. First-come, first-served as seating is limited to the theatre capacity.

Marcus Theaters: Kid's Dream Summer Film Series

Keep it cool with Marcus Theatres and American Family Insurance this summer! Join us Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10 a.m. from June 19th through Auguest 16th for your favorite family friendly films for just $2!

Marquee Cinemas: 2012 Kid's Summer Movie Program
Marquee Cinemas presents a special selection of family films brought to you each week during the summer at no charge.Click on your location for dates and selections. 
Rave Cinemas: Free Family Film Festival
Twice a week for nine weeks. Doors open 9:30 a.m., Show starts 10:00 a.m.  G or PG movies all FREE.
Regal Movies: Summer Movie Express Program

Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Summer Movie Express to enjoy a great selection of films. During this 9-week festival, participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only a dollar on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00. A portion of proceeds from the Summer Movie Express will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute.
