http://www.hiddenmeaningsymbol.com/pages/Product-Packaging.html

Isn't that a beautiful pendant? I think so and the cool thing, its changable! Here a link to check out more about The Hidden Meaning Symbol package and read on about how to win one for yourself!

Review by: The Deals and More
I was given this unique necklace to write a review on. When I first got the necklace, my daughter seen it and kept telling me that she wanted it. Of course, me being the push over I am I handed it over to her. She wore the necklace everywhere she went for 2 days straight. I was finally able to get the necklace from her and had a chance to wear it and get a good look at it. I sat there for a few minutes looking at the paper that tells you how each letter is laid out and making up different words in the necklace. I really liked that part. It can say anything that I would like and no one else would know truly what it means to me. The one thing I really like about this product is that you can give this to someone special in your life and only you and the person receiving the item can know what is the meaning behind the necklace. It can be a sweet little secret between you and someone you love. You can have it mean something simple as I love you to something like a religious saying. Your imagination is your limit on this item. Another thing I like about this company and this item is that there are more things than just necklaces. There are bracelets, earrings, and more.
Given that the symbol contains every letter of the alphabet, it can mean ANYTHING to ANYBODY at ANYTIME! This multilingual, unisex pendant gives people the ability to create their own personal message, HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT. The Hidden Meaning Symbol™ is a thought provoking conversation piece which can lift anyone's spirit, in the best or worst of times. It can also evolve with the person who is wearing it, as the beholder can S-P-E-L-L out a different message each day. Wear of gift it on any occasion, containing any message.
Now that you have read my little review, here comes the best part. Your chance to win one. Enter below for your chance to win either a small or large pendant. This giveaway will end 6/16 (saturday) at 11:59 PM EST Good luck!

The Little Looster: Review & Giveaway

If you are anything like me you look forward to saying goodbye to diapers for good. But that does not mean potty training is a joyous occasion. I have been looking for something to make potty training my son easier. I broke out my daughter’s old potty chair and it seemed to frustrate him because the hole was so small. I even tried pulling out some of those fold out seats that go on top of your own toilet seat. Those work okay but they always got in the way of the adults in the house. Sometimes they even pinched the back of his legs and that did not help keep him seated. I was at loss really until Monica walked into my life with The Little Looster and nothing has been the same since.

About:

For all the years when those little legs don’t reach the floor. The Little Looster, a booster for the Loo™ is about to change the way we potty
train. The perfect potty stool.

Comfort
Provides total comfort & leg support for years of use.
No more painful pins-n-needles feeling when little legs are not supported.
Confidence
Promotes complete certainty.
No scary feeling of “falling in.” Kids legs do all the work.
Cleanliness
Allows children to have their hands free at all times.
No need to grip the back of the toilet seat or the inner, germ covered
rim.

Review:

My son loved The Little Loosterthe moment it came out of the box. After putting it in place I had to hop on first to see if it would be in my way. I found no discomfort at all. My son hopped on next and he immediately fell to the right but b/c of the great design of the Looster he caught himself with his hand. He then climbed up on it and walked around. I stood there afraid his weight would flip it over but there he stood on the side without so much as wobble. Cole sure tried to get hurt on it but The Little Looster was perfectly safe.

After a few uses my son has had a couple of drips on the Little Looster. The plastic design makes for easy clean up. I used a soapy towel without scrubbing and there are no stains left behind. You could easily throw it in the tub and spray it off for bigger messes.

The best part is the storage space! Yes, storage and I’m not even sure Monica had this in mind when she designed the Looster. The Little Looster has empty space within the booster. Which I found ideal for extra toilet paper or a box of wipes. With all the benefits of The Little Looster it is great that you can get your own at such a reasonable price. I hav suggested it to several of my friends and my best friend’s son really enjoyed using The Little Looster when they were over last. If you are potty training you need one, in my not so humble opinion!

Review: Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake DVD

About: Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake” available March 2, 2010. For Ages 3-6
This DVD is designed by two mom-entrepreneurs on a mission to bring the beauty and magic of ballet into the lives of children everywhere. It is a hip new twist on learning about ballet, featuring the Paris Opera Ballet and Students from School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, Official Academy of New York City Ballet. Our 40 minute DVD is a cool, fun, beautiful show with a brain. Prima Princessa, an animated fairy ballerina, magically transports a group of little girls to see the Paris Opera Ballet perform select segments of Swan Lake. In between acts, the children return home to learn simple ballet steps which are playfully shown mixed into colorful montages of toys, animals, children and young dancers from the School of American Ballet.

The Halton Review: My daughter Hallie, took ballet when she was 4. Around the same time she was diagnosed with Leukemia and was unable to finish classes for that year. She went into isolation soon after treatment began. Two years later and she still misses ballet. She has several DVDs and never hesitates to watch any and all ballet shows she finds on TV. So when the opportunity to review Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake became available to me. Well, I jumped at the chance!
Mary Kate co-creator of Prima Princessa was so excited to tell me about her product that I knew a lot of love had went into it so I was even more excited. Hallie couldn't wait for the DVD to arrive and as soon as it did she popped it into the player. The verdict? She absolutely loved it. She said and I quote,"There is a cartoon ballerina Moma! Oh and real life ballerinas Moma. This is the greatest ballet movie ever Moma. I love Swan Lake Moma. Moma!! It has ballet classes on here too! Moma, they even know the names of the dances like my teacher does!" She loved it I'm still hearing tidbits of the story and about what dances she is learning. She has even started comparing it to her other ballet movies. I think she has a brand new favorite. Hallie decided to take it to a sleepover and share with friends. I think she takes after her moma, when you find a good product...ya share! I recommend picking up a copy for your ballet lover!

Buy it: Would you like a copy of your own for only $6.99? Click over to Amazon and order yours today.

About: A few weeks ago I had the privilege to work with the great people over at CSN stores. A CSN representative emailed me to inform me that CSN stores has launched a brand new site over at stool. Not only do they furnish almost every kitchen appliance you can imagine over at Cookware.com now they have 100s of kitchen stools to choose from. Here is more from the company in their own words.

This combination of benefits is rare among online retailers and is what sets us apart.

Review: Millions?! All those brand names and great prices; how can a girl choose just one item? Well, I had that very enjoyable task and narrowed it down to these absolutely gorgeous Ginsu knives (that shipped within 4 days).
The great part, that I was secretly giddy about was that I was missing one knife from the set. I know that usually this would be frustrating but I was excited to see how the company would react with that much product. I followed their very easy replacement steps provided on their site and within 4 days I had a beautiful replacement knife waiting in the mail. Everyone I spoke with at CSN stores were very friendly and helpful. I would most certainly recommend shopping at any of their stores. So what are you waiting for? Get to shopping! Here are a few links to get you started. www.Allbarstools.com or stool,www.Cookware.com, and their main site www.CSNstores.com. Hurry over and check out their great sales and contests going on!

Review: Ore-Ida Steam n' Mash

Okay...I'll admit it. I'm a snob for homemade. If I go in a restaurant and the name of an item says 'homemade' I am more apt to purchase that item. So when my sister in law said that Ore-Ida Steam n' Mash taters were just like homemade and her 3 men couldn't tell the difference in the taters. I had to try them. I may like homemade but I looove easy. lol So off I went in search of these Steam n' Mashers for my Thanksgiving meal and they were no where to be found. Undoubtedly, word of mouth was working in the spud's favor. Needless to say I was even more intrigued after going to 3 different grocery stores! The hound dog that my husband is was determined to find them and luckily we had 2 bags for Christmas... After ruining the first bag by not following the directions properly. We got the second bag on the table.
Here's the scoop. They were good, but they were not homemade. As a stand alone dish, no gravy, no butter you will be able to tell they've been frozen. I would say that on top of Shepard's Pie or covered in gravy they are a very sneaky substitute. The texture is just different from my taters and no matter how long I whipped them they still had that 'I was frozen' texture. They won't replace your Moma's spuds but they sure will impress a new boyfriend that doesn't know you're not the greatest cook. They're also really great for a quick fix! Click the button above and print a coupon for $1 off a bag then try them for yourself.

Disclaimer: This is an honest opinion from The Halton Mom and I was not paid for my opinion. Nor did I receive a free product. This is only my opinion which may differ from yours.

How to be Famous by: Heidi Montag or Spencer Pratt Book Giveaway ***CLOSED***

Do you all remember my review I wrote last month about this funny book? Well if not click the word review and check it out. I found this book a fun read for myself. I would say I wouldn't want my daughter to read it though. I don't want her thinking along the lines of these two no matter how tongue in cheek. I understand they are not the people they want you to believe they are but even if you look over some of the language its just not something I would want my child to read. But I digress this book is alot of fun and will leave you with a sense of realty about who these two really are and who they are 'playing' on the show. So who wants my copy?! Review: How to Be Famous by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

Have you heard of these two? I know right, the laughs begin or the eyes start to roll the moment I think of them. But I have to admit over the years the infamous Speidi has grown on me. But I have often asked myself why are these people everywhere I look? They have to have some kind of magic potion. They are not actors or sports stars they're just reality stars. Sub-characters to boot! I was curious really curious. Honestly I've thought, I need a bottle of what they are using or at least an instruction guide. lol Leave to Speidi to come through for me! They've written a book folks one that chronicles their rise to the top. With quirky tidbits on how to "unlock the secrets of celebrity couple math" to ways to "Increase your capacity for evil with Spencer's "Villain-o-meter". The entire book is very tongue in cheek. You'll walk away from it with a lot more 'like' for these two I promise whether it be like or dislike is up too you though. They really cracked me up. The book was a huge page turner complete with pictures. I don't know about you but I love pictures. All I could do was laugh and shake my head at their shameless, no apologees guide to fame. I recommend you pick one up and pass it along to a friend. We all need a good laugh and these two once again deliver! If you're too shy to buy one at the local bookstore I suggest picking one up online. They retail for $19.99, Spencer says that's about 4 OK! Magazines lol.

I want to thank the great people of the Hachette Book Group for the opportunity to review this book. Also a huge thanks to The Product Review Place for connecting me with this sponsor.

Disclaimer: I was not compensated for my review of this book. I received a free copy to review which did not effect my opinion or this review. These are my opinions ones that you may not share.

SkinMD Natural Shielding Lotion Review & Giveaway CLOSED

As many of you may know my daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2007 and due to chemotherapy, steroids and other medications on top of having a father with eczema she pretty much has skin like paper. She can not use lotions with perfumes of any kind. She gets cracks between her fingers and sores very quickly from the excess of hand washing. We all were prescribed with hand washing and sanitizing regularly after diagnosis, to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Needless to say everyone has skin like paper, even my 2 year old son. So when Amber with Skin MD Natural emailed me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing a bottle of their Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion, I jumped at the chance. Amber was really nice and informed me that she would ship out a bottle that week. I hurried over to the Skin MD web page www.skinmdnatural.com. This is want they had to say about their product.

Skin MD Natural uses only the finest natural ingredients, and is focused on urging the skin to be active, and to use its own moisture to effectively heal itself. It is not oily or sticky, doesn't sit on top of your skin leaving a greasy residue on everything you touch, it doesn't rub or wash off easily, is hypoallergenic, fragrance, colorant and paraben free and dermatology tested.

It's for Moms, Dads and Kids of all ages.
It's an easy, safe and natural way to care for your skin throughout the day.
Every day.

I was even more excited to get my bottle in and begin my review. After a week of using it on my face and hands I could tell a difference immediately. I loved that it was not greasy and that I didn't have to use very much at all. The great part was that my face didn't break out at all even though my skin has a bad habit of not liking new things. My skin and Skin MD Naturals fell in love. My daughter used some on her hands and she liked it alot. My husband used the product with note able results and less itching. I even put a little on my two year old's hands after washing with anti-bacterial soap. I think the only con to all these pros is that I wish I had another bottle! I did notice a subtle scent from the aloe vera but nothing overpowering. Overall I loved the product and highly recommend that you try it!

Buy it: If you'd like to give Skin MD a try, you can buy Skin MD lotions at skinmdnatural.com or click on the site to find a nearby pharmacy that carries it or you can order a free sample!
