Frugal Tips for a Victorious Valentine's Day Married or Single

Married:
-Order your husband's favorite take out. Serve it on your nicest plates (yes even if its pizza). Light candles you already own. Make it special!
-Hand make your Valentine's Day card. Go to the Dollar Tree for supplies every things a buck!
-Skip the movie. Copy a few of your favorite photos over the years. Set your laptop up on the dinner table. Open up the folder and click slide show in your viewer.
-Take it one step further by making a play list of your favorite songs and play them as you watch the slide show.
-Give him a framed picture of your Wedding or a family photo for his desk at work.

Single:
-Have an UnValentine's Day rent horror movies, action flicks, anything anti-love. Pig out on popcorn and forget the opposite sex.
-Find some single friends and have a girl/guy's night out!
-Single Mom? Show your children they are the center of your world. Take them out to McDonald's treat them to a strawberry shake. Can't afford to go out try staying home and doing one of these great activities! Enjoy the hugs and kisses for being such a great mom!
-Single Dad? Send your children flowers to their school or Valentine's in the mail. Make sure to call them if you can't be with them and tell them they are your number one Valentine.
-Call a widow in your life and tell them you love them. Donate your time to a charity for the day. Giving selfless love will help you forget about not having a date.

Everyone:
-Take some time to share the greatest love of all in Christ Jesus. Testify to a stranger. Share Jesus with your children. Tell Him you love Him. If Valentine's Day is all about love, then its all about Jesus because He is love. Remember to share this today and everyday John 3:16.

Clean up...clean up...everything has a special place!

Good afternoon readers! I hope each of you have had a super day. I have, I feel so accomplished. After a week of feeling the winter crud and sinus infection blues. I actually got up and cleaned today. My Mom decided to keep the kids to give me a break yesterday and boy did I need it. Thank you Mommy. After getting some much needed rest and down time I realized that the house did not have a down time. The clutter, dust, dishes, and crumbs kept piling up without apologies. I decided that I couldn't possibly get everything done so I focused on the kitchen, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. I feel pretty happy sitting here with my sweet I-cleaned-all-day Pinesol smell blowing through my house. My TV is all shiny from the fresh dusting and my dishwasher is finishing up my days work for me. I just had to come share my Pinesol euphoria. Don't you love how a good cleaning of your house is like having your cake and eating it too?

Okay ladies lets talk...so what is your routine? What is your favorite products to do the hard cleaning and what do you use for the daily maintenance? Ladies do you have hardwood flooring? What do you love to use the make your floors sparkle? Looking for different maybe even better products? Check out my Scrub Club button to the left to find great new products from the great people at Soft Scrub!Have a great day and happy cleaning.

The Grocery Cart Challenge: Frugal Tips= Homemade Hand Sanitizer

Am I the only one that had their eyebrows raise at that line? Maybe its that I'm a cancer mom and my hands are so dry from multiple daily uses of hand sanitizer. But I was excited when I read this. I'm going to have to try it, either that or buy stock in GermX. I couldn't help sharing with my readers. Go see Gayle over at The Grocery Cart Challenge for more information.
