Happy Monday readers! I'm a little later today then I would have liked getting this meal plan out but I've been outside with the kiddos. We've been cleaning and refilling the kiddie pool. I've just been enjoying life...isn't that much more important? I hope you have many great opportunities today and throughout this summer with your children. Let's meal plan...shall we?

Weekly Meal Plan

First let me say this weekend was an amazing success with Dance Blue raising over $633,000.00 for the kids! I'm so very proud of everyone over at Dance Blue and UK. Thank you again!
Now onto my meal plan. I've been feeling like I'm in a rut. I haven't wanted to cook at all lately. So I decided to change up my menu completely. I have a couple of family favorites and some new finds I've been meaning to try. If you decide to try one of the recipes, then please come back and let me know. I would love to hear from you! Look for a new giveaway this week and more product reviews.

Wisconsin Broccoli-Cheddar Cheese Soup
Grilled Chicken Breasts, Roast Potatoes, & Broccoli
Spanish Beef & Rice
Hobo Dinners (I'm thinking of using the suggestion to add Broccoli Cheese Soup at the end.)

Weekly Meal Plan

We've had a rough weekend. I have two littles one down with the stomach flu. I'm not sure how much of this will make the table. Please pray for my little ones to get well as we have a charity event to go to this weekend. Thanks so much!

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
Meat Ball Subs, Chips & Pickles
Crock Pot Chuck Roast w/ Veggies( This is a little different from my own recipe. I either do Cream of Mushroom or Onion Soup Mix not both. I always go with Fat Free/Low Sodium stuff too. )
Hot Ham n Chz Sandwiches, French Fries, & Pickles

Happy Meal Plan Monday readers! I hope you had a great weekend. It is that time again to plan our meals for the week. Here is my list. I hope you find something that inspires you this week. I'm looking forward to tweeking the Italian Slow Cooker Roast. The recipe I have is a little sweet so I'm going to do a little fixing to make it a little more savory. I've been pretty ill this week. Hubby had to improvise a lot this week. We also had to do take out. So a lot of last weeks menu is showing up this week. How can you have Dixie without the Chick?

Many of you may have heard by now that the Dixie Chicks have a new album in the works. Which would be great news for this fan but we have one problem. Natalie Maines will not be joining the trio on this new album. Seriously? You expect a fan of this group to purchase an album without the signature vocals? One of the most stand out unforgettable voices in country music? Really? I mean... really? I know I know...she said a "bad" thing (insert eye roll here)big whoopdity do! She had an opinion and she voiced it. She had the guts to stand behind it too. So go Natalie! I love honest people. Fakery makes me sick. So again I ask why are we not having Natalie on the album? Oh they say Natalie's still apart of the the trio she's just not on this album. Okay BUT why? I want to know. I deserve to know. I want my real Dixie Chick. I'm not sure I'll be purchasing an album at this point. If I do it will be because this New Dixie Chicks album will have a sound all its own that I can't resist. The purchase unfortunately will not be based on new music from a favorite band. Because whatever they put out...well...it may be Dixie but it won't be chick. I have no hate towards the sisters, Natalie, the label any of that. I just want a reason as a fan. I'm no die hard. I don't have chick tats but I do love them and I want a explanation. So sorry gals until I get one...I'm just not ready to make nice.
