Review: The New Proactiv ©

A few months ago I had the opportunity to try Proactiv for the first time. I was very excited about to review Proactiv. I have seen this product on television, in magazines, and well everywhere for years. I admit I was a little giddy to be rubbing elbows with other Proactiv users like Katy Perry and Diddy. :) Here is a little bit about Proactiv from the people at Guthy-Ranker.com.

Review:
I have never had a huge problem with acne. I have more of an issue with black heads around my nose and I usually break once a month on my cheeks. I have used cleansers from the pharmacy or a make-up Consultant. I really like the products I have been using and I wondered if the new Proactiv would be better and finally get rid of the black heads.

I started using the product about a couple of months after receiving my samples. I loved the smell and feel of the Renewing Cleanser, Revitalizing Toner, and Repairing Treatment. After using the product per instructions daily I really began to see and feel a change. My husband even noticed how smooth my skin feels.

I wanted to be more skeptical, but the new Proactiv really does everything the commericial says it does. My skin is softer, smoother, and it really does make you feel younger to have healthy skin.

This site would be great for Digital Scrapbookers for all the great printables! Purpltrail also have a great blog with even more ideas for your next party needs over at Partytrail. This year Mom is going to receive one of there great customizable Mother's Day photo books. I highly recommend giving this website a try. I love being able to open cards for my kids to enjoy without offensive inappropriate ads. Purpletrail.com is a must see!

Since I was little I have loved books. I love the look of them, the smell, and especially the magic in reading them. When Hallie was born, one of the first gifts I ever purchased for her was a book. She has always loved them and my 2 year old Colton has followed in her footsteps. We read every night and if for any reason our routine changes Hallie and Colton definitely miss it. Review:

My kids really did enjoy this book and cd. As soon as the book arrived we put the cd in my laptop and started reading along. Colton really got excited when he heard the Shushybye Train. He really started to go wild when the Shushybye theme song started because he loves his "Shuu shuu bye and Goo-nite". Hallie and Colton have been enjoying Baby First Tv for awhile so they were familiar with the residents of Shushybye. Both children loved the story and my 2 year old actually sat still for the entire book. Later that night my son enjoyed the Close Your Eyes CD to help him fall asleep. Shushybye is themed towards babys, toddlers, and pre-schoolers but even my 6 year old (going on 20) loved the book and the Close Your Eyes CD. Moms will love the positive message in the book and songs. Our favorite part is that the book cover glows in the dark! A couple of weeks have already passed since I received this book and cd and it is still very popular. I still find myself singing the songs as I'm changing laundry. My kids dance for hours to this CD. I highly recommend taking an adventure with all the Shushybyes!

I really enjoyed watching the wet gel crystals slowly evaporate. The gels continued to push out a great clean smell until the very last crystals dissolved. Review: Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake DVD

This DVD is designed by two mom-entrepreneurs on a mission to bring the beauty and magic of ballet into the lives of children everywhere. It is a hip new twist on learning about ballet, featuring the Paris Opera Ballet and Students from School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, Official Academy of New York City Ballet. Our 40 minute DVD is a cool, fun, beautiful show with a brain. Prima Princessa, an animated fairy ballerina, magically transports a group of little girls to see the Paris Opera Ballet perform select segments of Swan Lake. In between acts, the children return home to learn simple ballet steps which are playfully shown mixed into colorful montages of toys, animals, children and young dancers from the School of American Ballet.

The Halton Review: My daughter Hallie, took ballet when she was 4. Around the same time she was diagnosed with Leukemia and was unable to finish classes for that year. She went into isolation soon after treatment began. Two years later and she still misses ballet. She has several DVDs and never hesitates to watch any and all ballet shows she finds on TV. So when the opportunity to review Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake became available to me. Well, I jumped at the chance!
Mary Kate co-creator of Prima Princessa was so excited to tell me about her product that I knew a lot of love had went into it so I was even more excited. Hallie couldn't wait for the DVD to arrive and as soon as it did she popped it into the player. The verdict? She absolutely loved it. She said and I quote,"There is a cartoon ballerina Moma! Oh and real life ballerinas Moma. This is the greatest ballet movie ever Moma. I love Swan Lake Moma. Moma!! It has ballet classes on here too! Moma, they even know the names of the dances like my teacher does!" She loved it I'm still hearing tidbits of the story and about what dances she is learning. She has even started comparing it to her other ballet movies. I think she has a brand new favorite. Hallie decided to take it to a sleepover and share with friends. I think she takes after her moma, when you find a good product...ya share! I recommend picking up a copy for your ballet lover!

The great part, that I was secretly giddy about was that I was missing one knife from the set. I know that usually this would be frustrating but I was excited to see how the company would react with that much product.
