Happy Monday to all my readers! 

I really hope you had a great weekend. We actually got some Christmas shopping done thanks to my sister-in-law.  She offered to keep the kiddos so we could go shopping. The kids were worried about going because they didn't want to leave Sugar Plum. They didn't want to miss a single night of her mischief. 

They should have known Sugar Plum would never let them down though. Because that morning, when they woke up there she was, sitting a top a shelf in the kitchen.  The kids told their aunt, uncle, and cousins all about Sugar Plum and her many adventures this month. My kids loved sharing her with them. 

The big question now is... 

How will she get home?

Elf on the Shelf Day 1: Sugar Plum's Adventures

 Today, December 1st, we were greeted with an elf breakfast. We had chocolate chip muffins and strawberry milk. This was not my first choice, but Santa knows best! Because today he has left us our very first Elf on the Shelf! We enjoyed reading the story book and we had fun naming her too!

Meet Sugar Plum. 

                                                                    

She is a very sweet girl Elf scout and we already love her so much. The kids are already whispering secrets for her to take to the North Pole. We just can't wait until tonight to see what she will do!

Heads Up! New Scooby Doo Halloween Trick or Treat Buckets at McDonalds!

Halloween is only 2 weeks away! I know can you believe it? It was just yesterday that I put my son in preschool. Now the weather has turned cold and we got Trick-or-Treating to do! I'm getting excited about it though.  I love dressing up the kiddos. And last year we used the Trick-or-Treat buckets from McDonalds. Admittedly the size limits how much candy you can carry at one time. The trick is to just fill a shopping bag between houses. Of course you could always say once the bucket is full we are done. Whatever works for you. ;) Anyway, we had so much fun with these last year that I knew I had to give you guys a little heads up in advance.
