Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 4

Welcome back to Sugar Plum's Adventures!

This morning we found Miss Sugar Plum with this adorable Christmas scene. She had borrowed a couple of our ornaments, my t-shirt,  and a few Christmas decorations to finish her North Pole scene.

The little sleigh she is sitting on usually sits on the top shelf, in between the two photos sitting on their side. I normally have the Christmas tree candle, sitting in the middle of the two photos, on the second shelf on the right hand side. We were curious about the ribbon until we followed the line down to the couch.

My kids figured that she had most likely rode the ribbon down to her snow scene on the sleigh she is sitting on.

The really neat part about the whole scene is that the lights on that wreath pictured, were broken. Miss Sugar Plum must be a tinker elf because as you can see, it's working great now!

My son actually loved the little marshmallow snowman the best.

He's pretty cute.

My daughter especially enjoyed watching Sugar Plum giving one of our ornament elves a ride.

Thank you for reading about our Sugar Plum today. Please come back tomorrow to enjoy the next adventure!

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 16

If you have been reading all about Sugar Plum up to this point you already know that yesterday was a slow day for our little elf. She did have a note from Santa due to poor behavior from the kids. This is very important business of course but, not very exciting for the little ones. They made their minds up to 'Be Good' from this point on.

Their efforts must of paid off! If you look in the left bottom corner you will see that Sugar Plum has a gift for them today!

My kiddos were so excited to find their Sugar Plum back in action. They caught her wrapping a gift and writing their initials on the Christmas tag.

They couldn't wait to open it.. so they took the package carefully trying not to touch Sugar Plum. They were so happy to find that she had left them the Elf on the Shelf movie! The kids watched it all day today. This has reaffirmed to them that good behavior can lead to good things!

Thanks Sugar Plum and Santa! ;o)

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Days 17 & 18

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures

 ~

 Days 17 & 18

Day 17

Sugar Plum sure had us stumped on this day. We searched all over and couldn't find her. My daughter got so upset right before bedtime that she went into her bathroom and cried. She told me that she missed her dear Sugar Plum, very much.

Sugar Plum wasn't gone for good though.

She was hiding among the Christmas presents under the tree. She had hidden in a bag from their Nana. The kids were so relieved to finally find her.

Day 18

After upsetting Hallie yesterday Sugar Plum made sure to make her next spot a lot more easy to find.

What a ham.

She just loves to be center of attention.

More to come.. stay tuned to this elf channel for more elf fun!

Elf on the Shelf Day 1: Sugar Plum's Adventures

Today, December 1st, we were greeted with an elf breakfast. We had chocolate chip muffins and strawberry milk. This was not my first choice, but Santa knows best! Because today he has left us our very first Elf on the Shelf! We enjoyed reading the story book and we had fun naming her too!

Meet Sugar Plum.

She is a very sweet girl Elf scout and we already love her so much. The kids are already whispering secrets for her to take to the North Pole. We just can't wait until tonight to see what she will do!

Stay tuned to this blog so you can be apart of our newest tradition!

Elf on The Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures~Day 11

Hello again to all of my elf loving blog readers out there!

This morning we found our little Sugar Plum hanging from a chandelier in the kitchen. I had photos but I can not find them right now.

:o(

Which makes me sad...

But!  Have no fear...

I do have plenty of Elf pictures for you today. We did a lot of running on the 11th of December. My kid's like things a little over the top because, they are under the impression that Sugar Plum should move every time we leave the house. Luckily, Sugar Plum was happy to oblige because she used this opportunity to explore the house a little more.

While they were at school and I was running some errands, Sugar Plum visited my daughter's room for a nap in her Barbie van. She was relaxing with the flat screen once the kid's got home from school that day.

Later, we went out to do a little Christmas shopping and grab something to eat. Once we got home we found that she had moved into our son's room.

My daughter said she was on a date with one of... "brother's wrestle men".

LOL

The kid's loved that she had finally taken time to check out their rooms. I'm just glad she didn't get lost in the clutter. ;o)

Day 11 with our sweet Sugar Plum was awesome.

I hope you enjoyed it.

More coming soon!

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 19 & 20

Day 19

On this day my daughter lost not one, but two teeth! She was dancing around all afternoon singing about how the Tooth Fairy and Sugar Plum would get to meet.

There was just one problem.

Apparently, Fairies and Elves do not get along very well. If you have seen  A Fairy Odd Christmas you know what I'm talking about.

The kids must of forgotten because they didn't expect to find Sugar Plum hanging from our wreath on the front door. The tooth fairy had come, but it does not appear as though she was allowed inside.

According to Miss Sugar Plum's note, relations between the Fairy and Elf communities are still...strained.

I hope my garden Gnomes are still welcome!

lol

The kids enjoyed this very much and had to watch A Fairy Odd Christmas all over again.

Day 20

With Sugar Plum safe outside, my son decided it would be a good time to open up some of his presents. Luckily, I had thought ahead and wrapped all of his gifts in pink. He knows what his sister is getting from us but not himself.

My husband decided to handle the situation like MacGyver. o.O

Sugar Plum decided to find a nice spot to watch over the tree and gifts.

With the combined efforts of Miss Sugar Plum and my husband I'm pretty sure the gifts are safe!

Well folks, that is all for this installment of Elf mischief. Come back soon for more laughs with Sugar Plum and her Adventures.

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 12

This morning Sugar Plum must of been pretty tired from the activities the day before because she didn't do too much that night. The kids found her sitting pretty in our Christmas tree.

After school that day my daughter was lounging on the couch with her brother's DS. When we left to go shopping she left it sitting on the recliner.

When we got home we found Sugar Plum sitting on the recliner enjoying my daughter's game.

My sweet girl was so tickled she immediately sat down beside Sugar Plum to see which game she was playing. It was a 'how to be good' section of her pet game. My daughter's face lit up and I had to snap a photo.

Here is my beautiful girl with her Sugar Plum.

Thanks so much for reading. If you are enjoying this series let me know. I would love to include your comments in the book I'm making for my kiddos!

Happy Holidays!

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 3

Day 3 and Sugar Plum is at it again.

We awoke this morning to a surprise in the kid's bathroom.

The kid's of course enjoyed finding another note from their friendly elf Sugar Plum. I told them that she had to use their bathroom to get all the kid germs off of her. They had broken the 'no touching' rule. So, I used the marshmallow bath to get my point across.

This made me think of a hot tub. he he he

My son giggled at this so hard and asked if he could eat one of the "bubbles".

I asked him if he wanted elf germs on him and he said, "Yea."

Anything for a marshmallow I suppose. ;)

Be sure and stay tuned to Sugar Plum's adventures by following me through one of the social networks on the top of my blog here or bookmarking this page.

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 23

Who knew the day before Christmas Eve could be so much fun?

This morning we found our little elf on our kitchen table with a Gingerbread Cottage Kit!

She left the kids a note that read,

"Build it, before I go."

Sugar Plum even had the first piece of candy picked out for the kids.

The kids didn't waste anytime at all.

They got to work right away.

They were very creative with their use of icing and sugar. Although the icing was whipped and did not work for snowmen building.

They were very pleased with the finish product.

They had so much fun building their Gingerbread Cottage for their elf friend. :)

Well elf lovers, only one day left with Sugar Plum.

*sigh*

At least this was one day the kids will never forget.

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 24

How did Christmas get here so quickly? It seems like yesterday that Sugar Plum first arrived with Elf breakfast.  We just can't believe it is her last day. But the good news is...

 Santa will be here tomorrow!

This morning the kids awoke to find Sugar Plum perched in our Charlie Brown tree with a couple of new friends for the kids and a new book!

She had also left them a very sweet letter.

"Dear

H & C,

Today’s my last day

I must say goodbye.

Tonight I must go,

To the North Pole, I’ll fly!

But Santa will be here.

With gifts and good cheer.

And I get to come back,

The same time next year!

So remember to “Be Good“.

And take care of yourself.

Never forget all the fun times

With Sugar Plum the elf!

I miss you guys already!

 Love,

Sugar Plum

P.S.

Santa made this suit… just for your elfie

So on my last day I could have a hug, from you guys to me!

P.S.S.

The book and new friends are for you to remember Me by!

 Hugs and Kiss,

Bye-bye!"

We sure will miss her but the kids have been hugging her and saying their goodbyes with smiles on their faces. This tradition will definitely continue next year. We all had so much fun with Sugar Plum and can't wait to see her next December.

I hope all of you have enjoyed her stay as well. You can review all of her Adventures at the link below.

Have a Merry Christmas readers from Sugar Plum and my family to yours!

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 14

Hello again to all my loyal elf readers.

I want to apologize for the delay on this series. I had one of my Christmas dinners over the weekend for my side of the family. It was a really great time, but I had no time for my blog. Sorry guys. Hey no worries... I'm back!

How about some elf fun? :o)

Day 14

Yesterday, my kids put some candy in the bottom of their socks that they received at school.  Miss Sugar Plum was found in our living room hanging out in one of the stockings. My son told Sugar Plum not to steal his candy like she did the Oreo cookies. I think Hallie should have warned her also because...

Say what? Elf butt.

My daughter just laughed at how our elf was hanging from her stocking trying to steal all of her candy...with her "butt hanging out".  It's amazing how much this little Elf has brought us happiness this holiday season. We are already discussing what she might do next year.

Elf on the Shelf: Sugar Plum's Adventures ~ Day 21

This morning we found little Sugar Plum resting under our Charlie Brown tree snuggled up with a stuffed snow man.

She had added a stocking on the tree.

The kids enjoyed finding her this way but they both hoped she wasn't sick. We decided she must have been tired with only 3 days left until she has to go home. The North Pole must be really busy at night. All the flights back and forth must be catching up with our little elf.

I just figured all the Mayan Calendar talk plum wore her out. ;o)

I hope you are enjoying our elf series.

Come back soon for more elf high jinks.
